OCTOBERFEST, FEAST & FUN!

This delightful couple planned all Spring and Summer to have their wedding ceremony at the property they had just purchased.  With it being a Fall wedding, they wanted to incorporate all the best of the season.  A beautiful autumn day smiled upon them for friends and family to gather for the fun.  How cute is their “Honeymoon Suite”?  Everyone had a wonderful time and we hope this couple will cherish the day that they exchanged their wedding vows.

Fireworks For This Fourth of July Couple

The 4th of July is the bride’s favorite holiday.  What better day than to also get married on your favorite day?  The couple was planning on surprising everyone at the backyard BBQ with their wedding, but decided to spill the beans (not the baked beans : ) so that all would show up in time to celebrate this joyous occasion with them.  The weather was perfect and the couple had known each other when they were younger.  As happens, life sent them in different directions, but alas, they found each other again and knew that the fireworks were still there!

Five Times to Get IT Right!

Castle Wedding And Uris 041 (1)It’s not what you think–this is not the fifth time this couple have been married, but it is the fifth time they were married to each other!  It started as a joke, but then, it became a fun tradition.  They got married in Vegas by an Elvis impersonator–twice at the Renaissance Festival and once by “Friar Tuck” at a costume party!  It was such fun to pronounce them truly and legally married in the fifth and final ceremony!  Since you two decided to tie the knot five times, I would say that you are going to make it last.  Looking forward to their vow renewals in the future!Party (1)

Beautiful Bay City Day

Casey and Jess Bay City Country Club 014What a gorgeous June day for this wedding at the Bay City Country Club for this Veteran and his bride.  Adverse times in their life brought them together at a support group and, as they say, the rest is history.  Their blended family were a part of the sand ceremony and the bride cried when she saw how many guests had turned out to share in the ceremony!  It was an honor and privilege to be a part of the moment that united them as one . . husband and wife!

Love on Lake Huron

This beautiful couple rented a beach house on the lake for their nuptials.  Down the long staircase walked the bride with the sun behind her which was stunning. Salvatore Wedding 004 An ATV was designated as the “limo” to bring the guests down who could not navigate the stairs–then the 3 little flower girls did what wedding pictures are made for! Salvatore Wedding 007 How incredibly perfect is this picture of them dipping their toes in the water following the wedding!

It was an absolutely picturesque day for a beach wedding and we were so honored to be apart of it/  Salvatore Wedding 016

Auctions and Weddings

Bill and Kathy at Goodles Chaple 018Bill and Kathy at Goodles Chaple 008Bill and Kathy at Goodles Chaple 016This couple decided that the Goodells Chapel was the place for them to tie the knot and have their reception on the grounds of the park.  It was a glorious summer day and all was just about perfect . . . except it was a day that an auction was going on in one of the barns by the chapel.  Other than the occasional competing against the auctioneer, the vehicles were quite a site filling the area surrounding the chapel.  All in all, a most unforgettable, great day!  The ringing of the bell is always a hi-lite!

The Addams Family . . dah, dah, dah, dah (snap) (snap)

Kim and Fred Wedding 030 Kim and Fred Wedding 031The bride was crying prior to the ceremony that she so much had wanted for her brother, who was in the military,  to give her away, but he just didn’t make it in time.  Two minutes before the wedding began, in ran her brother!  Such joy was on the bride’s face and here is a picture of him giving her away.  Needless to say, you have probably gathered that the groom’s last name is Adams . . . what a fitting recessional song for grins and giggles–they had the DJ play the them to “THE ADDAMS FAMILY” and everyone snapped their fingers in unison!  A great day had by all!Kim and Fred Wedding 008

Reunited, and it feels so good . . . .

I am always so happy when I encounter a couple who have gone through the anguish of divorce, and are getting remarried.
We say our vows, and we mean them.
Sometimes however things happen in life that we think we simply cannot stay together.
It is a blessing that these two lovely people are coming back together again with more wisdom, experience, love, and the strength of a marriage that only comes from going through life’s fires and coming out the other side.lwc 007
