OCTOBERFEST, FEAST & FUN!

This delightful couple planned all Spring and Summer to have their wedding ceremony at the property they had just purchased.  With it being a Fall wedding, they wanted to incorporate all the best of the season.  A beautiful autumn day smiled upon them for friends and family to gather for the fun.  How cute is their “Honeymoon Suite”?  Everyone had a wonderful time and we hope this couple will cherish the day that they exchanged their wedding vows.

Trolley Trip Tradition!

What fun it was for this couple to be ushered from their Almont wedding to the Romeo reception! Scott and Laura Wedding Masonic Temple Aug 2 2014 019

Pure country at it’s finest.   It was yet another beautiful summer day when this couple tied the knot.  The organist accidentally started playing, “Here comes the Bride”, as the parents of the couple were being ushered down the aisle and everyone stood up!  Melanie gently went in and motioned for everyone to sit down as the father of the bride yelled out–“you don’t stand for us–we’re already married!”.  The guests laughed, sat down, and got it right when the bride made her grand entrance.  Never know what might happen from one wedding to the next, but that is what makes each and every one so special and unique!  Scott and Laura Wedding Masonic Temple Aug 2 2014 011

Fireworks For This Fourth of July Couple

The 4th of July is the bride’s favorite holiday.  What better day than to also get married on your favorite day?  The couple was planning on surprising everyone at the backyard BBQ with their wedding, but decided to spill the beans (not the baked beans : ) so that all would show up in time to celebrate this joyous occasion with them.  The weather was perfect and the couple had known each other when they were younger.  As happens, life sent them in different directions, but alas, they found each other again and knew that the fireworks were still there!

Princess Processional for a Princess Bride

On this beautiful day in May at Boulder Pointe,  each one of the bridesmaids walked the aisle to a different Disney Princess theme song.  It was so unique and special as it ushered in the bride who truly looked like the ultimate Princess!  The couple chose to put together the Unity Cross to seal their commitment to God and to each other.  As this Princess married her Prince — may they live their fairytale happily ever after . . . Passing Up/Down the Wedding Gown!

Dan and Tracy in Lindon July 5th 2014 009As I went to talk to the bride and was admiring her wedding gown, her daughter told me that her mom was wearing her wedding gown.  That was a new twist!  How great it was the mom was able to fit into her daughter’s gown and get another wearing for it.  Maybe, when the granddaughter grows up, she can be part of the tradition and wear it also! Dan and Tracy in Lindon July 5th 2014 004 This fun backyard wedding involved a bonfire, music and fun guests and was a most perfect day for the newlyweds!

Let’s Hit The Road!

It is summertime. He has a daughter, she has a daughter.  What better way to start a family vacation, than a pre-trip wedding!  The girls knew they were going on vacation, but they didn’t know their parents were going to marry the morning they were leaving.  With the van packed, they all headed up north for a much needed and perfectly planned Honeymoon/Vacation Fun Trip!Little weddding 004

Castle Wedding in Northern Michigan

Main HouseChapel Path (2)Center stage (2)perfect (2)Signing (2)Who knew there was a castle in Deckerville, MI??  This amazing place, Inner Circle Estates is in the middle of the woods.  It is a castle in every respect, both inside and out.  We were so excited when this couple asked us to do their wedding ceremony there!  Everywhere you looked, was a romantic and photographic opportunity.  The wedding took place in an outdoor chapel that replicated a covered bridge! The bride was concerned that it was going to rain on her otherwise perfect day, but God smiled once again and allowed a dry and comfortable ceremony for us all to enjoy!

Love on Lake Huron

This beautiful couple rented a beach house on the lake for their nuptials.  Down the long staircase walked the bride with the sun behind her which was stunning. Salvatore Wedding 004 An ATV was designated as the “limo” to bring the guests down who could not navigate the stairs–then the 3 little flower girls did what wedding pictures are made for! Salvatore Wedding 007 How incredibly perfect is this picture of them dipping their toes in the water following the wedding!

It was an absolutely picturesque day for a beach wedding and we were so honored to be apart of it/  Salvatore Wedding 016
