Memorial Weekend Weddings 2014 014Memorial Weekend Weddings 2014 040The day was gorgeous and we had three weddings to perform!  This was the final one of the day in Frankenmuth–just an intimate ceremony by the mill.  It could not have been a more beautiful ending to a perfect day! The balloons began ascending right after I pronounced this couple husband and wife.  I am sure we will all remember that awesome site!Memorial Weekend Weddings 2014 074 Memorial Weekend Weddings 2014 086

Lake, Love, Labs and Loads of Fun!

This couple decided to get married on whatever date we had available.  Now that IS flexibility!  The wedding was put together in about 2 weeks and Aunt Sue’s lake house seemed like the perfect place to tie the knot. The family dogs were running around excited to be part of all the preparation.  The day was alittle chilly, but during the ceremony, the sun came out and warmed the guests and wedding party for us all to enjoy the event!

Impromptu Park Wedding

Through many trials and tribulations, this couple had to postpone their wedding for several months.  They had a celebration last year in the anticipation of being able to legally become husband and wife.  A few calls back and forth determined that they just wanted to get married without any fanfare, so we planned to meet in the park on a chilly March day for them to seal their vows.  We looked around and found a perfect spot by the rushing river where the family gathered around for the ceremony.  Sometimes the most simple of plans can turn out to be extraordinary as it was for this couple.  Bottom line, this could not have been a more beautiful wedding!

Memorial Made Memories

This couple decided to tie the knot at the historic Grosse Pointe War Memorial. Being a veteran, my spirit was stirred with all of the artifacts and pictures. The wedding was set in the library with a glowing two way fireplace lighting up the room. With family and friends gathered around, this couple became a family with his children being a part of the ceremony. He had planned a secret for his new bride trying to recreate the honeymoon scene in “It’s a Wonderful Life” back at their newly purchased home–where they would be spending their first night together. Congratulations and may you always have . . . a wonderful life!
