This couple had gotten married the year before and then had second thoughts on wanting to renew their vows in a ceremony setting as they were not pleased with the way they did it initially. So, in front of family and friends, they said their vows again, and got to incorporate the bride’s daughter in the sand ceremony. They were so thrilled with the repeat performance, as they said their first wedding minister was awful and they were so happy they had found Wishing Well Weddings!
This delightful couple planned all Spring and Summer to have their wedding ceremony at the property they had just purchased. With it being a Fall wedding, they wanted to incorporate all the best of the season. A beautiful autumn day smiled upon them for friends and family to gather for the fun. How cute is their “Honeymoon Suite”? Everyone had a wonderful time and we hope this couple will cherish the day that they exchanged their wedding vows.
On this beautiful day in May at Boulder Pointe, each one of the bridesmaids walked the aisle to a different Disney Princess theme song. It was so unique and special as it ushered in the bride who truly looked like the ultimate Princess! The couple chose to put together the Unity Cross to seal their commitment to God and to each other. As this Princess married her Prince — may they live their fairytale happily ever after . . .
It is summertime. He has a daughter, she has a daughter. What better way to start a family vacation, than a pre-trip wedding! The girls knew they were going on vacation, but they didn’t know their parents were going to marry the morning they were leaving. With the van packed, they all headed up north for a much needed and perfectly planned Honeymoon/Vacation Fun Trip!
This beautiful couple rented a beach house on the lake for their nuptials. Down the long staircase walked the bride with the sun behind her which was stunning. An ATV was designated as the “limo” to bring the guests down who could not navigate the stairs–then the 3 little flower girls did what wedding pictures are made for! How incredibly perfect is this picture of them dipping their toes in the water following the wedding!
Through many trials and tribulations, this couple had to postpone their wedding for several months. They had a celebration last year in the anticipation of being able to legally become husband and wife. A few calls back and forth determined that they just wanted to get married without any fanfare, so we planned to meet in the park on a chilly March day for them to seal their vows. We looked around and found a perfect spot by the rushing river where the family gathered around for the ceremony. Sometimes the most simple of plans can turn out to be extraordinary as it was for this couple. Bottom line, this could not have been a more beautiful wedding!
This sweet couple chose November to begin their life together in the cozy lodge at Waldenwoods. The three wood fireplaces were aglow to ward off the very chilly day, but the warmth of the wedding as these two exchanged their vows is what made this beautiful setting even more so. A rustic theme complemented the atmosphere and the newlyweds were even able to run outside for a few nippy photos before retreating to the lodge for their reception. We hope the very best for these two as they begin the holidays as husband and wife.
UPDATE: 2/2014: We received a message from this couple that they are expecting a baby this summer!
The Waldenwoods Bridal Show in March offered a drawing for a FREE wedding worth $15,000! It included venue, photographer, cake, gown, flowers as well as a ceremony. How thrilled and awestruck was this bride-to-be when they called her name as the winner! Here are a few pictures of that magical day that took place a few weeks ago on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in November. We pray that their life is as full of blessings and surprises as their first day as husband and wife was!
How truly awe inspiring it is when you hear stories of young love going their separate ways and God bringing them back together after many years apart. This is what happened to these two. Life sent them in different directions in marriage and children, but it didn’t work out–as if they were meant to be, their paths crossed again, much older, and wiser and realizing that there still was a chance from that love that was sparked all those years ago. The bride’s entrance song was “Bless the Broken Road”, which was so perfect for their wedding day. Now that these soul mates have married, we know their life together will be everything they ever dreamed it would be. Bless you ~
