OCTOBERFEST, FEAST & FUN!

This delightful couple planned all Spring and Summer to have their wedding ceremony at the property they had just purchased.  With it being a Fall wedding, they wanted to incorporate all the best of the season.  A beautiful autumn day smiled upon them for friends and family to gather for the fun.  How cute is their “Honeymoon Suite”?  Everyone had a wonderful time and we hope this couple will cherish the day that they exchanged their wedding vows.

Trolley Trip Tradition!

What fun it was for this couple to be ushered from their Almont wedding to the Romeo reception! Scott and Laura Wedding Masonic Temple Aug 2 2014 019

Pure country at it’s finest.   It was yet another beautiful summer day when this couple tied the knot.  The organist accidentally started playing, “Here comes the Bride”, as the parents of the couple were being ushered down the aisle and everyone stood up!  Melanie gently went in and motioned for everyone to sit down as the father of the bride yelled out–“you don’t stand for us–we’re already married!”.  The guests laughed, sat down, and got it right when the bride made her grand entrance.  Never know what might happen from one wedding to the next, but that is what makes each and every one so special and unique!  Scott and Laura Wedding Masonic Temple Aug 2 2014 011

Five Times to Get IT Right!

Castle Wedding And Uris 041 (1)It’s not what you think–this is not the fifth time this couple have been married, but it is the fifth time they were married to each other!  It started as a joke, but then, it became a fun tradition.  They got married in Vegas by an Elvis impersonator–twice at the Renaissance Festival and once by “Friar Tuck” at a costume party!  It was such fun to pronounce them truly and legally married in the fifth and final ceremony!  Since you two decided to tie the knot five times, I would say that you are going to make it last.  Looking forward to their vow renewals in the future!Party (1)

Calypso, Clouds and Geese?

This couple had a beautiful day for their Greystone wedding and a Steel Drum Band played while the family and friends were seated and the processional began.

A cool breeze and sunny skies had all the makings of a perfect wedding, almost . . . that is until a gaggle of geese decided to fly directly over the ceremony honking like crazy!  Of course, having to stop the ceremony until they past was not the worst fear–thank God they did not decide to leave any “deposits” on the anxious guests!!

Love on Lake Huron

This beautiful couple rented a beach house on the lake for their nuptials.  Down the long staircase walked the bride with the sun behind her which was stunning. Salvatore Wedding 004 An ATV was designated as the “limo” to bring the guests down who could not navigate the stairs–then the 3 little flower girls did what wedding pictures are made for! Salvatore Wedding 007 How incredibly perfect is this picture of them dipping their toes in the water following the wedding!

It was an absolutely picturesque day for a beach wedding and we were so honored to be apart of it/  Salvatore Wedding 016

Auctions and Weddings

Kim and Fred Wedding 030 Kim and Fred Wedding 031The bride was crying prior to the ceremony that she so much had wanted for her brother, who was in the military,  to give her away, but he just didn’t make it in time.  Two minutes before the wedding began, in ran her brother!  Such joy was on the bride’s face and here is a picture of him giving her away.  Needless to say, you have probably gathered that the groom’s last name is Adams . . . what a fitting recessional song for grins and giggles–they had the DJ play the them to “THE ADDAMS FAMILY” and everyone snapped their fingers in unison!  A great day had by all!Kim and Fred Wedding 008

Memorial Weekend Weddings 2014 014Memorial Weekend Weddings 2014 040The day was gorgeous and we had three weddings to perform!  This was the final one of the day in Frankenmuth–just an intimate ceremony by the mill.  It could not have been a more beautiful ending to a perfect day! The balloons began ascending right after I pronounced this couple husband and wife.  I am sure we will all remember that awesome site!Memorial Weekend Weddings 2014 074 Memorial Weekend Weddings 2014 086

Lake, Love, Labs and Loads of Fun!

This couple decided to get married on whatever date we had available.  Now that IS flexibility!  The wedding was put together in about 2 weeks and Aunt Sue’s lake house seemed like the perfect place to tie the knot. The family dogs were running around excited to be part of all the preparation.  The day was alittle chilly, but during the ceremony, the sun came out and warmed the guests and wedding party for us all to enjoy the event!
